I grew up in a military family that moved around. A pick up and go, no BS mentality made me tough, but the tightness that was a reaction to constant uprooting became an armour that long outlived its purpose. In my first yoga class, I gritted my teeth as I thought WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS. But something shifted. A space opened up. I was hooked. Our cells are the gatekeepers of our memories and hold the keys to our future. Every time you move, you have the power to alter patterns and message systems in your body that may no longer serve you. My classes are inspired by biochemistry, backbends, Darwin and unorthodox dance moves. Come breathe with me and let's see what happens.
